15,000 Turkeys Can Help Change Lives
How can a turkey change a life? When you donate a turkey, you’re providing more than just food. You’re helping us provide stability and hope at the most difficult time in someone’s life.
This fall, thousands of people in need will come to our doors seeking shelter, feeling hungry and hopeless and desperately looking for help. Thousands more will wonder how they can provide daily meals—let alone a Thanksgiving celebration—for their families and still pay the bills to keep from becoming homeless.
But your generosity can change that.
We’ll take your turkey donation and turn it around to provide:
- 3,000 Thanksgiving Banquet-in-a-Box meals, including a turkey and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner
- Thousands of meals all holiday season long in our shelters and life-changing programs
We also supply turkeys for 140 additional churches, schools and non-profit organizations who host their own banquets and turkey distribution events during the holiday season, bringing Thanksgiving into the homes of countless neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet.

Do you live south of downtown? You don’t have to drive all the way to the Lawrence Street Shelter to donate a frozen turkey. You can donate your turkeys and other food donations at this special event at Red Rocks Church – Park Meadows.
