All the programs and most of the general services we offer here at Denver Rescue Mission are designed for those who are over 18 years of age or minors with a parent or guardian in the program. Minors who are experiencing homelessness without a parent or guardian have unique situations that our programs are not designed to accommodate, however other organizations exist to help in these specific situations.

One service that may be available to you is our food pantry, clothing, and hygiene products. If you cannot afford food or clothing, the Mission's food pantry, clothing and hygiene items are available once per-month to those in need. Please be ready to present a valid photo ID before you receive any items.

If you or your loved ones are in immediate need of food, you are welcome to dine at our Lawrence Street Community Center, open every day of the year. The center serves three meals daily:
*Dinner is available only for men staying overnight in one of the Mission's three shelter locations. Families, women in need and anyone not staying at the Mission's shelters will be referred to various partner ministries near our Lawrence Street Community Center. These ministries are also equipped to better serve women and families experiencing homelessness in other unique ways.

Denver Rescue Mission offers overnight shelter for men only and may not be the right fit for your situation. Thankfully, the City of Denver has compiled a great list of resources that can help you find a shelter or service that's right for your situation. Check out their site at DenverGov.org to learn more.
Emergency shelter is available 24/7, 365 days a year and can accommodate hundreds of men each night. If you are homeless and want to escape the dangers of sleeping on the street, you are welcome at one of the Mission’s three overnight shelter facilities:

This ADA accessible location provides 24/7 emergency sheltering for men every night. Guests have reserved beds at the shelter, as well as access to safe storage (designed to store overnight guests’ possessions during the day) and other services. Guests receive three meals a day.
This overnight emergency shelter for men features restrooms, and water fountains. Guests are transported from the Lawrence Street Community Center after the dinner meal service to the Holly Center and then back to the LSCC in the morning prior to the breakfast meal service.
This ADA accessible location provides 24/7 emergency sheltering for men every night. Guests have access to three meals a day, safe storage (designed to store overnight guests’ possessions during the day). This shelter is also host to Next Step, a service designed for men experiencing homelessness who want to pursue a path toward permanent living situations. Men who are a part of Next step have a reserved bed.
Anyone is welcome to visit our Lawrence Street Community Center to find a safe place to be during the day. The drug- and alcohol-free environment provides a temporary daytime solution for you or your loved ones. Guests can also learn about our long-term programs which focus on creating long-term stability in the lives of participants.
