Various Shifts Throughout the Day
On Friday, January 24th, we’re adopting the Lawrence Street Community Center for our first-ever Adopt-A-Serve Day! Join us for our next Experience the Mission, when you can serve at one of the many meal preparation or service shifts for the folks at Lawrence Street. You’ll bless the folks we’re blessed to serve, and you’ll learn a lot about what happens at our flagship location that’s been serving Denver for 132+ years.
We’re looking for 4-5 people per shift for each of the following:
Come be part of a fun, gratifying day of serving our neighbors in need!
Please RSVP by January 17.
Questions? Please contact DonorRelations@DenRescue.org or 303.313.2400.
Optional tours will take place at 9:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 4:15 p.m.
Any more than one person should register as a group; please provide the names of each member of your group. All meal service volunteers are welcome to a meal at the end of their shift. Tours typically take 20 minutes.
The minimum age for volunteering at Lawrence Street is 14 accompanied by someone age 18 or older.
Save a hairnet, bring a hat! Meal service volunteers are required to wear a hairnet or hat for food safety. We welcome you to bring your own hat if you want. Anyone with facial hair may be asked to also wear a beard net.
That’s okay! Contact us at DonorRelations@DenRescue.org or 303.313.2400 if you want to come volunteer with us on another day, or if you just want to schedule some time to meet and chat about how your support helps end homelessness, one life at a time.
