As Denver Rescue Mission is ready to enter its 133rd year of service to the Front Range. Community, President/CEO Dennis Van Kampen has announced four new members to the Mission’s Board of Directors.

Jon Gettings

Gettings serves as the Executive Pastor at Denver Community Church, where he has faithfully served the congregation for nearly two decades. Previously he worked at the Mission in three separate roles from 2000-2008.

The Colorado native, has also served on the Board of Directors at Left Hand Church, Safe Families Colorado and Caring Connection.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Environment Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver. In addition, he earned a Masters Specialization from Northern Seminary in Discipleship and Mission.

Jonathan Holmes

An executive coach and business leader, Holmes is welcomed to the Board of Directors with specific strengths in strategic vision, budgeting and project management. Holmes has worked at Fidelity Investments for over 13 years and currently works as a regional coaching consultant. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant and a Certified Financial Planner.

Holmes earned an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Mauri Resseguie

A longtime supporter of the Mission in various volunteer roles, Resseguie brings a valuable set of skills to the Board. She has served as a key leader for the Mission’s Young Professionals group, where she has built meaningful relationships with individuals new to the workforce while cultivating a path of sustainable support for this group.

Professionally she has worked as a Loan Operations Manager at Fortis Bank since 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from DePaul University in Chicago.

Tom Tucker

Tucker has spent 45 years in mid-sized entrepreneurial businesses with a strong focus on building teamwork and shared vision. Prior to his retirement, he had a particular professional skill set in print and direct marketing.

His previous non-profit Board of Directors experience involved the Limb Preservations Foundation (2008-2020) and Denver Athletic Club (2006-2011).

Tucker also has Industry Boards experience with Denver Advertising Federation, Printing Industries of America – Mountain States, International Pre-Press Association, and Western States Prepress Association.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the University of Denver.

There are now 10 members on Denver Rescue Mission’s Board of Directors. Cathy Goss, Executive Vice President at Independent Financial, currently serves as the Chair.
