At Denver Rescue Mission, we understand the profound impact a loved one’s passing can have, and we’re honored that many families request memorial gifts be directed to the Mission in memory of their loved ones “in lieu of flowers” at a memorial service or in an obituary. They are not only paying tribute to their loved one in a special way, but they are also making a lasting impact on our community by our neighbors in desperate need find hope.

How We Can Help

We’re here to help you honor the memory of your loved one through memorial gifts to the Mission in the following ways:

  • Prayer: We collect prayer requests from donors, staff, program participants, and more to share with our prayer partners who have signed up to lift up the needs of our guests, supporters and staff to the Lord. If you want to request prayer, please let us know in the comment section of the Memorial Gift Guide below.
  • Memorial Gift Tracking: We can collect and share the names and addresses of anyone who mentions your loved one in their gift, in order to help you follow up with each giver personally.
  • Memorial Gift Guide: Using the form below, you can add in your information and automatically generate a short paragraph of instructions suitable for including in an obituary or memorial service program.
