Some of the most memorable plays NFL athletes will make are the ones off the field.
We know for Denver Broncos players, this statement couldn’t ring more true. Their athleticism is as equally met with their enthusiasm to give back to their community.
Their most recent act of kindness came in the form of homemade meals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Broncos players Josh Watson, Justin Hollis and Malik Reed teamed up with Chef Joel Mays prepared and donated more than 250 meals to our participants and families at The Crossing.
The Broncos are no stranger to the Mission. From helping us build and sustain our Denver Broncos Youth Center to throwing a holiday cookie decorating party for our families at The Crossing for the past 10 years, they continue to amaze us with their generosity to those we serve.
The Broncos have the motto of #BeAChampion. It’s clear that saying extends far beyond the field and into the hearts of the community they play for.
Thank you for being incredible athletes and community champions!
Also- join us in congratulating the Denver Broncos on being named a finalist for ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year Award.
