It’s Turkey time! We need your help to collect 15,000 turkeys for our annual Turkey Drive in order to feed thousands of hungry people in Colorado.
Putting a Turkey on every table is just one way you change lives. Our services and programs are critical this year, and each quality Thanksgiving meal we provide brings hope and dignity to a neighbor experiencing homelessness.

*Monthly donations will be used for turkeys in the first month of the recurring giving plan before being reallocated to general needs.
What Do We Do With 15,000 Frozen Turkeys?
In addition to making traditional Thanksgiving meals for our guests and participants across Denver Rescue Mission locations, we distribute 3,000 Thanksgiving Banquets-in-a Box to families and individuals in need.
We partner with 140 different churches, schools and non-profit organizations to bring Thanksgiving into the homes of people who need it most.

Take Your Frozen Turkey to Work Week
November 17 – 22
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Join your coworkers to help us reach our 15,000 turkey goal and drop off frozen turkeys any day between November 17-22 during “Take Your Frozen Turkey to Work Week.” Turkeys collected will be used to help families and individuals in need this holiday season.
Staff and volunteers will be on hand to accept turkeys from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. all week.

Red Rocks Church – Park Meadows Turkey Drive Event
Do you live south of downtown? You don’t have to drive all the way to the Lawrence Street Shelter to donate a frozen turkey. You can donate your turkeys and other food donations at this special event at Red Rocks Church – Park Meadows.
