Britta Fisher was appointed as Executive Director of Housing Stability / Chief Housing Officer for the City of Denver by Mayor Michael B. Hancock in June 2018. She was also appointed by Gov. Hickenlooper to the State Housing Board and served 8 years. Gov. Polis recognized her service to the state by declaring Britta Fisher Day on January 20 this year. Fisher’s passion and expertise for housing is reflected in her leadership as she has advocated for affordable housing solutions and funding. She has played a pivotal part in response efforts to serve those facing homelessness in our city during COVID-19.
