The Housewarming Box program is designed to meet the needs of families and individuals who are transitioning into long-term housing solutions. They receive boxes filled with household supplies that help them get settled into a home of their own.
Your support gives these men, women and families the ability to make rent payments and purchase groceries. Not only will you provide essentials but, more importantly, hope and encouragement. Thank you for your generosity to serve these families and to warm a home this holiday season.
Housewarming Boxes Contain Urgently-Needed Supplies
A Housewarming Box consists of commonly needed household items. We provide a specific shopping list to make it very easy to fill your box. It costs between $150-$200 for you to purchase everything on the list.

We ask that you fill the items from the list into its own plastic storage tote. This creates a manageable way for you to fill and transport your box, a practical means of storage for the families and a box size that is not too heavy for anyone to lift. Your Boxes Will Help Families In Need
Men, women and families in need will receive these boxes. Single mothers with children, refugee families with minimal resources and even men in our shelters who are transitioning into permanent housing are just a handful of the types of people you can help by providing a housewarming box today.
How to Fill Your Housewarming Boxes
Items on the 2022 Shopping List will be slightly different than the items shown in this video.
To ensure your box makes it safely into the new home of someone in need, be sure to pack your box properly.
- All items from the Household Box Shopping List (except the optional items) must fit inside an 18-26 gallon plastic storage tote (purchased separately) and be fitted with a lid. This provides a practical means of storage for the families and an easy way for you to transport the boxes!
- Remember to prop up all liquid items at the bottom to prevent spilling.
- Include a signed holiday greeting card with an encouraging message for the family inside your box!
- Provide any optional items or gift cards separately when you drop-off your box. Make sure any gift cards are labeled with their value.

Mark your calendar for these drop-off dates! In order to provide boxes to our housewarming box recipients in time for the holiday season, drop off your boxes at our Ministry Outreach Center located at: 5725 E 39th Ave, Denver, CO 80207 on one of these dates:
It will be a drive-thru process to drop-off your boxes. Volunteers will be on hand to help you unload.
