It’s Turkey time! We need your help to collect 15,000 turkeys for our annual Turkey Drive in order to feed thousands of hungry people in Colorado.
Putting a Turkey on Every Table is just one way you change lives. It’s no secret that this year has been hard for our country, city and local communities, but it’s also proven that when we come together, we can provide true change and restoration for the most vulnerable among us. These services and programs are even more essential this year, and each quality Thanksgiving meal we provide brings hope and dignity to a neighbor experiencing homelessness.
What Does the Mission Do With 15,000 Frozen Turkeys?
In addition to making traditional Thanksgiving meals for our guests and participants across Denver Rescue Mission locations, we distribute 3,000 Thanksgiving Banquets-in-a Box to families and individuals in need.
We partner with 100 different churches, schools and non-profit organizations to bring Thanksgiving into the homes of people who need it most.
We Can Do It Together!
Drop Off Turkeys
Drop off frozen turkeys (12+ lbs) at our Lawrence Street Shelter or Ministry Outreach Center.
