Thank you for your support of Denver Rescue Mission and those facing homelessness.
Denver Rescue Mission invites you to provide a Spring Housewarming Box to a family in need. This program is designed to serve families who are part of our Family Rescue Ministry and Family Refugee Services by providing basic household essentials when they move into a new home.
Your support to provide these items will take the pressure off of a family, and give them the ability to meet their rent payments and purchase groceries. Not only will you provide essentials, but more importantly hope and encouragement as a family who was once on the brink of homelessness settles into a home of their own. Thank you for your generosity to serve these families.
The Housewarming Box You Fill Will Include
Urgently-Needed Supplies Such As:
Cleaning supplies
Hygiene items
Food storage supplies
Bath tissue
Bath towels
Laundry detergent
Diapers
And more!
How to Fill Your Box
To ensure your box makes it safely into the new home of someone in need, be sure to pack your box properly.
- All items from the Shopping List (except boxes of diapers and wipes) must fit inside an 18-26 gallon plastic storage tote and be fitted with a lid.
- Prop up all liquid items at the bottom to prevent spilling.
- Select items to include from the Optional list only based upon available space after all the required items are packed.
- Label your box “Housewarming Box” with masking tape or an adhesive label.
