The Denver Rescue Mission's work in fighting homelessness
is recognized internationally. The Mission hosts international visitors
who come to observe our facilities and programs. We have hosted visitors
from Germany, Scotland, South Africa, Russia, England, Australia, and
Romania.
The Mission's Global Ministry Outreach is further nurtured through
Stephen Walkup, Director of Programs and Ministries. Our Mission offers
consultation, resources, and support to city/rescue missions around the
world and
has partnerships with missions in Glasgow, Berlin, and Cape Town.
We work with organizations such as the Association for Clinical
Pastoral Education and the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions and
its accredited Rescue College. We provide
practicums, internships, and educational curricula that teach the complex
work of city/rescue missions. There are over 1,000 of these missions
worldwide.
