A good education is an important tool
in the fight against poverty.

It's not too early to start thinking about our Back-to-School Campaign. Help us provide needy children with the school supplies necessary for success. Invest in their education AND their future!

There are several ways that you can contribute to this effort:

1) You can purchase school supplies through our online giving catalog. The catalog reflects the school supplies we need and 100% of your purchase will go to the back-to-school event to help provide the necessary school supplies for children of low-income families.

2) You can donate needed school supplies (see list to the right). These can be dropped off at any of the following locations:

• Ministry Outreach Center
  3501 E. 46th Ave (map & directions)

• Lawrence Street Shelter
  1130 Park Ave. West (map & directions)

• The Crossing
  6090 East Smith Road (map & directions)

3) You can conduct a drive for needed school supplies. If you are interested in conducting a drive contact Lela LKirgan@denrescue.org for helpful hints and information in coordinating your effort.

4) We are also in desperate need of clowns, jugglers, magicians, balloon artists, puppeteers, etc. to entertain the children who come to our back pack distribution carnival at The Crossing, Saturday, August 11th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. contact Lela LKirgan@denrescue.org if interested.
